Xbox 360 Dashboard Preview
I've had my Xbox 360 for about 2 weeks now and I love it more and more each day. To help share some of the reasons why, I have decided to capture some video of the various elements of the Xbox 360 including things such as the new and improved dashboard as well as some of my favorite games.
Preview Video 1 - The Xbox 360 Dashboard
In my opinion, one of the greatest enhancements of the new Xbox is the vastly improved and interactive dashboard system. In this short video, I go through some of my favorite aspects of the dashboard including Xbox Live Arcade and the Windows Media Connect functionality that lets you connect to a PC running either Windows XP or Windows Media Center Edition.

We're going outta town tonight but maybe sunday we can have a little video posted on it. The graphics are pretty slick.

I seem to forget I don't "own" the game yet. Maybe it's time to buy it.
I'll have to rent it again before we can make a video of it huh! :)

This was a Great screencast. I haven't received any of the gleaming want for an Xbox but this screencast actually made me want to give it a try. Thank you for making this :)

Great video! What tool did you use to record it?

Hey Matt thanks - I used Windows Movie Maker to do this. I had my Xbox 360 hooked up to my video card that supports video in. From there I was able to record the video and audio.

Talking about hooking it upto the video card, how excually as I have been trying to do this for ages and I am either getting a wicked picture (but in black and white) or a really crap picture,
Here are my findings:

I have a GeForce 6600GT card with I think output only but I have a Hauppauge PVR 350 and that is what I used to record.
Thanks

Please help cus this is really doing my nut in
